Challenge Girls Summer Camp Inspires

The Challenge Summer Camp Inspire took place from June 21-25, 2015 in Union, Kentucky with 80 girls and camp counselors from all over the Ohio Valley.

As in any Challenge Summer camp, there were the daily prayers, conferences and team building activities for the girls to grow in their faith and find their inspiration to go out into the world. The camp was directed by a great team of consecrated women, moms, volunteers and camp counselors.

The Ohio Camp Inspire had some unique camp experiences that are fondly remembered by the campers and shared by the camp director Ally Wheeler,

“Together the girls set up altars and followed Jesus through the woods in a Eucharistic procession, learning about the beauty of that sacrament and how Jesus always stays with us. The girls had an awesome time on two “creeking” adventures, discovering God’s amazing creation including his little creatures crawdads! Camp ended with a memorable dance party with sparklers and glow sticks shining in the night like we should shine knowing how much God loves us! It was truly a great week!”
